Travis is a senior managing director and co-head of the Carolinas offices of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is primarily responsible for originating debt and equity transactions throughout the United States. During the course of his career, he has completed in excess of $12 billion in commercial real estate transactions on a broad range of properties, including multi-housing, retail, office, industrial, hotels and land. The capitalizations have included construction financings, conventional permanent financings and bridge financing, with a particular focus on equity placement transactions.

Tom Fritsch serves as Senior Managing Director of the CBRE | Raleigh and CBRE | Triad offices. As the senior executive, he is responsible for managing the company’s overall operations. Michael Haley is the Executive Director of Wake County Economic Development and the Senior Vice President of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. Wake County Economic Development – a public private partnership between Wake County, the City of Raleigh, and the private sector – is the lead economic development agency for Wake County and the City of Raleigh. Michael leads WCED’s business recruitment, retention, and expansion; marketing and public relations; talent recruitment; and support of entrepreneurship. Prior to his current role, Michael served as the Director of Business Recruitment and Expansion for WCED. Prior to joining WCED, Michael served as a Public Policy Analyst and then the Public Policy Director for the North Carolina Department of Commerce. Michael was named one of the Top 50 Economic Developers in North America in 2019 by Consultant Connect and the North Carolina Economic Developer of the Year for 2019 by the NC Economic Development Association.

Howard Jenkins joined CBRE | Raleigh in August 2016. As an Executive Vice President, he is an integral member of CBRE’s Southeast Multifamily platform that integrates CBRE’s Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston and Atlanta offices.  Howard oversees the greater Triangle region representing various clients in the disposition of multifamily and mixed-use assets.

 

Howard’s unique background features over 14 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Most recently, he spent 11 years with Federal Capital Partners (FCP), a privately held real estate investment company based in Chevy Chase, MD that has invested in or financed over $9.3 billion in assets since its founding in 1999.

 

At FCP, Howard’s scope of responsibilities included asset management for over 3,900 residential units in the Carolinas ranging from workforce housing to Class A and mixed-use. His full-life-cycle acquisition, asset management and disposition experience spans multifamily, commercial and mixed-use assets across the greater Mid-Atlantic aggregating over $900 million of assets under management.  Prior to FCP, Howard’s career included an acquisition role at Nautic Partners, a middle market private equity firm, and as an investment banking associate with Prudential Securities in New York.

John Loyack

John Loyack is vice president of global business services for the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, the nonprofit organization that performs a variety of critical economic-development functions on the state’s behalf. John leads the EDPNC teams responsible for helping North Carolina manufacturers sell more exports, supporting the growth of existing businesses across the state, and counseling entrepreneurs on how to start a small business in North Carolina.

 

Prior to his role at the EDPNC, John served as director of international trade for the North Carolina Department of Commerce. On the private-sector side, he has more than 25 years of experience in new product development for companies such as MercuryMD, Thomson Reuters, Time Warner and Esteve Labs.

 

John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish from Gettysburg College and holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is fluent in Spanish, is a patent holder and a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP®). In addition to being a member of the Board of Go Global NC, he is also a member of the NC Apprenticeship Council and the NC MEP Advisory Board.

Neyer in 2019, he was Senior Director of Development for Wexford Science & Technology where he led the historic renovation of the Chesterfield Building in downtown Durham, NC.  Justin began his real estate career at Highwoods Properties where he held several roles of increasing responsibility in accounting, finance, investments and corporate strategy.

Previously he was a business recruitment manager with EDPNC, and the Mississippi Development Authority. Prior to his work in development, Evan served as a deputy sheriff in his hometown of Gainesville, FL. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Auburn University. In his spare time, Evan enjoys playing golf, running and, for at least one week a year, backpacking the American West.

Jeff Zenger has 25 years experience in the building and development industry. Over his expansive career he has done residential and commercial building. Additionally, he has done both residential and commercial development. In so doing he runs 3 small businesses. He resides in Lewisville NC for 25 years where he and his wife of 32 years have raised 4 children. He has served on his towns’ planning board, founding chair of the Lewisville utilities committee and served 4 terms on the Lewisville town council. Additionally, over the years he has served on boards and committees for his church, WSHBA and ministries. Prior to settling in Lewisville he served 13 years in Baltimore city doing Urban Ministry to teenagers with YoungLife. Representative Zenger is currently in his first term in the NC House representing the 74th district after being elected in 2020 in a hard fought race in what was considered a tossup district.
